Please read our 25 Mile Challenge 2024 terms & conditions carefully, before registering to take part in the event.
By participating in Greenpeace’s 25 Mile Challenge, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- All online donations must be received through your fundraising page, hosted by Funraisin (this platform). Greenpeace Limited (hereafter “Greenpeace”) will not accept donations via external platforms, like Facebook or JustGiving, for this event.
- By registering and taking part in the event, you confirm that your health and fitness are good. Greenpeace is not liable for any injury sustained during the event.
- For safeguarding reasons, under-18s are not allowed to register for the event, set up their own fundraising page or to join the event Facebook group.
- For the protection of young people, any sharing of images or content on our Facebook group or or Funraisin fundraising pages, which includes children, must be overseen and approved by a parent or guardian.
- Each participant that raises a minimum of £10 and submits the online T-shirt order form by 23:59 on Thursday 31st October 2024 will be eligible to receive a welcome pack including a welcome letter, Protect What You Love T-shirt, activity poster and stickers in the post.
- To receive a welcome pack and T-shirt, you must provide a valid postal address in the United Kingdom. Greenpeace will not mail welcome packs or T-shirts outside of the UK.
- The welcome pack will be sent via second class post to the address you provide on the T-shirt order form, unless you update us otherwise before your pack has been mailed.
- Greenpeace accepts no responsibility for any welcome packs and their contents which are lost, damaged or delayed in the post. We can only send out a replacement pack if we have one in stock and at our own discretion, and if we are notified before 23:59 on Thursday 31st October.
- The welcome pack and its contents are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- Greenpeace reserves the right to replace the welcome pack and its contents with an alternative of equal value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.
- Greenpeace will process the data it receives when individuals register for the event, in accordance with the privacy notice provided on registration.
- Greenpeace reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions as required.
- Greenpeace reserves the right to amend any dates which are advertised in relation to the event, as required.
- These terms and conditions, and any disputes between you and Greenpeace in relation to the event, shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
