31 Miles for Nature

I’m moving 31 Miles for Nature to raise £150 for Greenpeace - can you sponsor me?

Our favourite places in nature are under threat from climate change, habitat loss and pollution. We need to act now to save them. That's why I've decided to move 31 Miles for Nature this October and raise £150 for Greenpeace.

With a fifty year history of defending nature, Greenpeace's mission is to create a greener, healthier, and more peaceful planet. Any donation you make could help power their campaigns to keep our oceans healthy, our forests standing, and fossil fuels in the ground.

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.

Please sponsor me today and help me reach my £150 goal. Thank you!

More little trips into town

Saturday 11th Oct
Zipped around town avoiding the traffic jam originating at roadworks in Allington...to drop off a birthday card, buy tickets for an upcoming play at the Lyric, and to get treats for my A who is running a half-marathon tomoz.

Klin Klan Thai Cuisine

Collected a delicious takeaway on my trusty bicycle steed. Here is a photo of Cat's tofu stir-fry.

Pectin added!

Tuesday 7th Oct
After work at J.A.'s, cycled to Fruits of the Earth, where they stock pectin! Thanks, Mike!

No pectin!

Tuesday 7th Oct
This evening I did a quick cycle to Waitrose, for pectin, to save my quince jam, but they didn't have any. I must get some tomorrow when other shops are open! If I manage to save the jam I will post a pic...

Mushroom omelette with quail eggs!

A quick cycle to the shops to buy some mushrooms, so I could make a tasty omelette with the quail eggs C gave me yesterday!

Thursday 2nd Oct
Cycled to the supermarket for a top-up shop. (3 miles return)
I also added the 8 miles done last weekend (the Challenge was reset to 0 today, so now those miles are back!)

Bad Grammar!

Sunday 28th Sep
Bad grammar spotted....went for a short cycle up to the shop (initials M.W.) to take this photo, before getting ready to go to my ALLINGTON STRINGS concert!!!

Autumn singing workshop

Saturday 27th Sep
I decided to start my 31 miles a little early, by cycling to Sammy Hurden's fabulous autumn singing workshop, at Loders Village Hall.
What an enjoyable morning and a super cycle, mostly on the cycle route by the River Asker.
I'm so glad I live in Beautiful Bridders!
