Greenpeace's 25 Mile Challenge - can you sponsor us to help protect the ghost octopus?
We’re taking part in the 25 Mile Challenge this October, joining people like you - who are concerned about the environment - in order to raise money for Greenpeace, and help it to protect the beautiful little ghost octopus, < > < >among many other things. It would mean a lot if you could support us with a donation.
The ghost octopus is a new species discovered in 2016. It is under threat because of proposed mining in the deep sea bed: https://www.greenpeace.org.uk/news/greenpeace-confronts-deep-sea-mining-industry-with-giant-octopus/
Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.
Please sponsor us today and help to protect the deep sea bed from ravenous mining, which would probably mean the end of many newly discovered species like the ghost octopus. Thank you!
