My target 250 miles

I’m taking on Greenpeace's 25 Mile Challenge - can you support me?

I'm taking the Greenpeace 25 mile challenge, but to show I'm serious, I'm aiming for 250 miles – can you sponsor me?

I plan to do 12.5 miles a day (20km), for 20 working days in October, around my home town in Thailand. This may sound like a lot, but I'll do it on an ebike - that is a bicycle with an electric motor to assist with the pedaling. In total that's 250 miles (400km).

I want to simulate a daily Monday to Friday commute, using an ebike instead of driving a car. Actually, I don't commute – I'm retired. So if I can do this at my age, anyone can!

The ebike's battery will be charged exclusively on solar energy from my home's solar panels.

In this way I'll be joining hundreds of people to raise money for Greenpeace, helping to protect this beautiful planet we call home. It would mean a lot if you could support me with a donation.

Your donation will help Greenpeace to fight the climate and nature emergencies, and to protect our world for people and animals today, as well as for future generations. If we all work together we can defend forests, protect oceans, fight climate change and make a brighter future possible, all around the world!

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.

Please sponsor me today and help to Protect What You Love, for who you love. Thank you!

(Sponsors donating 12 GBP or more will get a free video of the edited highlights of my journey.)
